Sri Lanka’s most famous cricketer bowled a googly at David Cameron today as he claimed that the Prime Minister had been “misled” on his country’s human rights record. Muttiah Muralitharan, known as Murali, said that the situation in the north of Sri Lanka had improved dramatically in recent years despite claims to the contrary by the British leader.
